Starts: Saturday, January 15th 2022 (Sign-up deadline noon on Jan. 12)

Modified Pinehurst format-Pairs of Couples will be matched for play. That list will be posted (and emailed) 1/15/2022

Both Players hit Tee Shot.
Each player hits their Partner’s ball for the second shot.
Choose one ball for the third shot and alternate shots until you hole out.
If you play a ball when it was your partner’s turn, the ball must be replaced and played in proper order. (NO penalty)
If one of the team members’ tee shots is hit out of bounds, the ball hit in bounds must be played, alternating shots until holed out. (NO penalty)
If both tee shots are hit out of bounds, each team member will hit from the other’s tee, and alternate shots until hole is complete (ONE penalty stroke)
No “Gimmes”. Ball must be putted in the hole.
No “Improving the Lie”.
Handicap
9-hole handicap, with 60% of low team member handicap and 40% of high team member handicap combined.
Scorecards
Place completed, dated and signed scorecards in the box labeled “Mixed Couples Championship” located on the counter near the scoring computer.
Winning Team Determination
Each couple plays three rounds between Saturday, January 15th, 2022 and Friday, February 25th, 2022. The fourth and final round will be played on Saturday, February 26th followed by the awards party with lunch available.
The team with the lowest 4-round total minus handicap will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined based on a card match starting at the 1st hole of the 1st round. (Sudden Death)

* – You must have a GHIN handicap to play, Players who have not entered a score into GHIN in previous 6 months will receive a scratch (zero) handicap, tournament organizers may set a max allowable handicap for this event, see event organizers if you have questions
